The Light Inside

Joh Jarvis is the founder of The Light Inside, a nonprofit organization bringing Vedic Meditation into correctional facilities across the United States and soon Australia. Since 2020, Joh has taught meditation at New York City’s Rikers Island jail and other correctional facilities, helping hundreds of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people learn a technique that profoundly changed her own life.
